“Salon des vins” –A great platform for Austrian wines 1. April 2008

 The so called “salon des vins” is being held from March 27 th until March 30 th at the Palais de Congrès, Montreal . This trade show is really unique in Canada in terms of quantity and of course, quality as well. It is a public event and therefore has a great potential of attraction among many people. There are no less than 215 booths where about 2000 products are shown to costumers. The wines presented here are not just standard ones, but specialties form all over the world. More than 230 producers, oenologists and wine growers from all five continents are attending the Montreal wine show.

But it is not just all about the wine itself. There is a huge variety of accessories of all kinds presented as well. Spectators are going to see the newest glasses, coolers, books, magazines and various other interesting things for wine lovers.

Austria is represented by some of the most prestigious wine makers of the country. The likes of Zantho, Winkler-Hermaden, Pleil, Ninaus and Hafner are showing their high quality products in Montreal . Zantho for example got excellent reviews in the Gazette and Le Devoir, two of Quebec ’s most important newspapers.

“Salon des vins” is a perfect opportunity for Austrian wine makers to present their products to a wide range of potential costumers in Quebec , Canada .
