The Lower Austrian company HAB specialises in edible advertising - the products on "Oblaten-Basis" are now finding a market in the USA. Business cards, labels, tickets for performances, confetti or hand-made paper flowers are all on the "menu" of the small Lower Austrian company.   

In 1880, Georg Kaltenhäuser founded the family company in Sigmundsherberg, which still uses traditional manufacturing techniques and special production technology for wafers. This technology enables the production of particularly thin wafers that are similar to paper. A width of between 0.5 and 1.2 mm as well as a 5 year use-by period offer diverse scopes of application at minimal risk.
The product range of  HAB extends from traditional wafers through to hand-made flowers, confetti and fun things for children like edible paper, as well as edible ink pens or printed wafer labels for bread and pastry, advertising media, packing slips, tickets, business cards etc.

Customers can find the company not only in Austria and Europe but these days in the USA as well. The ingredients for edible 'advertising' are made of quality GM free, allergy and gluten free ingredients from Austria. No chemical additives are used in the manufacture.
