Football event in AUSTRIA CENTER COPENHAGEN

This year's reception at the AUSTRIA CENTER COPENHAGEN took place on the 12th of June. The theme of the reception was football and the occasion was the UEFA EURO 2008 taking part in Austria and Switzerland.

We had arranged for our own football competition and our guests took up the challenges with great enthusiasm. Right after our traditional receiving line (this time including a bit of football juggling) the mascots "Trix and Flix" smilingly showed the way to our first challenge – the great opportunity of shooting goals in our patio. Quite a number of fantastic and memorable goals were shot and it turned out that high heels were no hindrance at all.

Our second and last challenge was a quick football match at an amazing and quite innovative triple football table procured by the Austrian Tourist Board. All guests were eager to take part and played with great energy - some even discovered a hidden talent for football.

No competition without prize giving - thanks to our sponsors we could hand out quite a lot of very fine prizes. See list of sponsors in our related downloads at your left.

Upstairs in the AUSTRIA CENTER COPENHAGEN the fan zone offered a well composed Austrian buffet –including specialities as St. Laurent Klostersekt, Apfelstrudel, Bergsteigerwurst, Speck from Tyrolia and more. We even had our own homemade football cake. This year the musical entertainment was composed by classical tones from a musical box along with memorable live songs from the 70ies.

After a successful event our guests left an experience richer, some with prizes, some with give aways and everyone with a delicious Mozart Kugel to complete the day.
