The Austrian company is now one of the world’s leading providers of electronic toll systems. Having supplied around 18 million on-board units and equipped almost 13,000 toll lanes in 38 countries, the company is exceptionally well positioned on the international market. This is also reflected in the subsidiaries and representative offices spread across 25 countries.
As regards the outlook for the coming business year, Kapsch TrafficCom predicts positive developments in the long term. Key factors in the coming year include the realisation of a multi-million project in South Africa as well as participating in tenders and project awards in France, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Denmark. The company is also optimistic about projects on the US market, which is set to standardise all of its toll systems in the future.
