Series: Export Winners 2010 – DELTA BLOC International 29. June 2010

Since 1994 the Federal Economic Chamber and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth have been awarding "Export prizes" to Austria's most successful export firms. This year the prize in the Crafts and Trades category went to DELTA BLOC International GmbH.

The company – with its headquarters in Lower Austria – is a leading developer and licensor of safety barriers from prefabricated concrete parts. The DELTA BLOC concrete safety barriers are now considered high-tech products with huge international demand. A testament to this is the record of over 20 patents, trademark and usage rights, as well as countless expert developments from over 100 crash tests at renowned testing institutes.

Other successful products from the company include noise barriers for motorways and dual carriageways. DELTA BLOC International GmbH is represented worldwide in around 30 countries through its regional license partners. These are in addition to the subsidiaries in Germany, the Netherlands, France and Great Britain.
