HE India Ltd, a subsidiary of the Austrian company, Hubert Ebner Verkehrsmittel GmbH, based in New Delhi with 25 personnel, is active in the area of road safety and traffic education. 8 outlets have been set up in India )Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Chennai, Kolkata, Jamshedpur). 

HE India Ltd, a subsidiary of the Austrian company, Hubert Ebner Verkehrsmittel, based in New Delhi with 25 personnel, is active in the area of road safety and traffic education.

Training is imparted to training staff and driving in structors who are then able to in dependently carry out the road safety work with HE products. In the course of an ADA project, around 30 master trainers have received training in the last 2 years and have, in turn, instructed about 600 teachers, trainers etc. To serve as a “model”, courses in road safety have been carried out all over India for companies, organizations or government agencies. In the last 12 months, around 50,000 persons (chauffeurs and drivers of taxis, buses, trucks and vehicles carrying hazardous materials) have been trained by HE staff who, with the help of HE products, will further tra in about 300,000 – 500,000 persons.

Train the Trainer

A range of printed matter is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi and Telegu – material on driving licence, road safety, fliers for transport of hazardous goods, softskills for drivers etc. Training and presentational software as well as curricula for teachers and instructors is also available and the company would like to introduce an e-learning system.

The Austrian company, Hubert Ebner, in cooperation with SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) and concerned government authorities, is working out the details of a special training course for a driving licence as well as an e-licencing system for a driving test.

Another plan being worked out is how the Indian automobile manufacturers can be more closely involved in the training course for a driving licence.

Together with with the NRRDA (National Rural Road Development Agency), Messrs. Hubert Ebner are also prepar in g a special programme for the rural population and for road construction eng in eers.

8 outlets have been set up in India (Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore , Hyderabad , Chennai, Kolkata, Jamshedpur ).

In coming years the Austrian company would like to develop and implement a franchise system for training institutes and driving schools.
