Austria at the "India International Build Expo" Chennai, 1st to 3rd August, 2008 4. August 2008
The Austrian Catalogue Exhibiton at the recently concluded “India International Build Expo 2008” in Chennai was a great success. Over 290 Indian and 3 foreign companies exhibited their products at this event ranging from building machines, equipment and materials to interior design, ceramics and bricks and electrical and lighting industries.
The Austrian Trade Commission represented a number of leading Austrian companies in the field of building materials and interiors at this exhibition and displayed their catalogues and brochures to over 5,000 visitors that flocked to this exhibition daily. This literature was of particular interest to the architects, construction companies, consultants, interior decorators as well as traders and suppliers of building materials that visited this specialized fair.
The response was overwhelming and good contacts were established for the participating Austrian companies. The Austrian stall was manned by Ms. Vera Fritsch, Key Accountant, Austrian Trade Commission, and Mr. Ravi Shankar, Director Marketing, Austrian Trade Marketing Office, Chennai.
