ABOUT US – THE AUSTRIAN TRADE PROMOTION ORGANISATION

In Austria the promotion of trade, industrial cooperation and investment relations with foreign countries has been entrusted to the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. With mandatory membership of all 370,000 Austrian companies and organized under public law the Austrian Chamber combines strong representation of the business community in the political and social arena with extensive service and support programs for entrepreneurs.

The Chamber operates a commercial service / trade promotion organisation with 107 offices in 72 countries. 700 Austrian specialists and local experts provide Austrian exporters with business intelligence, contacts and coaching services and assist businesses with cross border sourcing, financing, research corporations, technology transfers, and the establishment of subsidiaries. In host countries our service centers strive to enhance Austria’s profile as an investment location, a high-tech manufacturing base and a renowned source of custom tailored business solutions. They help foreign companies to gather information and locate suppliers and partners in Austria.
